I braved the "winter storm" in Utah to go babysit some the cutest kids in the whole world! My aunt and Uncle went on their anniversary trip to Costa Rica and I got to spend some serious time with my little cousins. It was SO fun...but i won't particularly miss the 5am wake up calls from cute little Cate...But she is SO darn adorable!
Cate...laugher/talker/tough chick
Brynn...the little princess/chef/learner
Anthony...the comedian/gamer/independant
Brady...athletic/helpful/obidient
Hanging out with the kids was really am amazing memory making experience:
-I loved having a movie night and watching Bolt with all 5 of us cuddled under one blanket
-playing candy land at least 23 times
-making sure cate always had her blankie and bob-el
-playing like i was a kid, at the park
-having Cate laugh at everything I said (such a self-esteem booster)
-having Brady say to Anthony "You need to OBEY!"
-watching a couple barbie movies (surprisingly entertaining)
-Having my 6 year old cousin Anthony say "Krystle will you lay by me"...he's going to be older soon and will probably NEVER say that again!
SUCH PRICELESS MEMORIES!!!!

I fondly call this the Sexy picture....

I actually look quite weird in the picture but, my husband, he looks scrumptious! I don't know how I got so lucky to marry someone with an incredible profile like this???

Vacation ALONE with my husband...OH YEAH
Well, Brett and I went to Cancun for our very first vacation alone...also known as a honeymoon. It was incredible! Hot, tropical, very little clothing, adventurous, everything you one could want in a honeymoon! We of course got them to upgrade our room, because it was our special vacation, we ate out every meal and lounged by the pool. I even got a bit of sun...pretty remarkable for me, and Brett added to his great bronze-ness. However, we have both been peeling for weeks, which we feel is a very small price to pay.
We also even ventured out of our lovely resort a couple times. We toured the possible Nephite ruins of Chichen Itza...which was of course awesome. But, my favorite part of the trip was when we were so STINKING HOT that we got little Mexican Ice Creams. Brett and I chose which ever one appealed to us and we began eating. I was done in 5 SECONDS!!!! By this tme Brett's wasn't even HALF WAY gone (and we eat about the same speed)!. So I took a few bits, because he was nice to share with me. Then he STILL had several bites left. So the picture above of Brett with ice cream depicts this moment. I was laughing so hard, out of disgust and anger at my ice cream decision. So the lesson is NOT all Mexican goodies are created equal!!!

3-21-09....We Tied the Knot!!!!

(My mom's friend (and mine) Becky Jones, made this collage of the day, i thought I would steal it, to give you the flavor of the day)
We had SUCH an amazing day! Everything turned out beautifully thanks to my mommie. Thanks mom!! I loved my colors (brown and kelly green) and everything was just what I hoped for...I LOVED it! But i loved the groom more! I mean really, I felt like I was marrying James Bond, Brett looked SO darn handsome.
Thanks to everyone who came and traveled far, it was really wonderful to have you all there to celebrate our special day!
*Please see my "mommie" link for a slide show of pictures my BFF took the wedding day.

Only 8 More Days!!!
I can't believe that after 15 1/2 months of dating Brett and I will be married in 8 days. We are hoping this goes by fast. Brett says "We have done 8 days in our sleep." So i guess its pretty easy according to him :) This has seriously been the happiest 15 1/2 months of my life. I feel so incredibly lucky! So, to celebrate here are a few pics from the past 15 1/2 months....

White Trash NO More!
Its official i'm engaged!! YEAH! So, my new name is going to be Krystle Ann Montgomery! And i for one think its INCREDIBLE. For years (as my 4 readers know) i've complained about my first name being a little W.T.(white trash). Everyone i've ever known with the name Krystle/Krystal/Crystal (save one other person, besides me) has been a on the not-so-classy side. My poor parents, if only my mom hadn't been watching the soap "Dynasty" while pregnant with me. I've longed for a timeless name like "Kate" or "Allison". But with my soon-to-be-oh-so-classy "MONTGOMERY" it totally negates the W.T-ness of my first name....YES! I'm almost as happy about my name change as marrying Brett (just almost honey).
So, yes i am madly in love. Or as my 12 year old sister says "Way TOO in love"...i don't think she necessarily means that as a compliment.
Here are the long awaited pictures of "the ring" and the night before we got engaged at Balboa Park, on our "re-enactment date". (Also, pic of my God-Baby Grace, since she has yet to make an appearance on this blog...SO CUTE!).
This is definitely the BEST holiday season i've ever had. Every party i go to feels like an engagement party thrown just for ME!

posting strike....OVER
Thanks to my super kind, dare i say angel-like friend Christy Beal I now have a new background that "reflects my personality". SO MUCH BETTER!! I felt so stifled and now I can breathe. If only I wasn't so technology challenged...THANKS CHRISTY!
So, thanks to my cute pink background here are some cute pics of Brett's niece Avery Ann on her blessing day. Her dress was HAND-MADE by Brett's mom and was BEAUTIFUL!! Very impressive Chris! Sorry, i have just about ZERO sewing skills.

Posting Strike
Well, i haven't posted in quite awhile. And the unfortunate news is I don't really plan on posting more in the near future. In fact i REFUSE to post until I get a new, really cool, customized to my personality background that EVERYONE else in the whole world seems to have figured out EXCEPT me! So until i get some sort of tutelage on the creation of fabulous blog backgrounds, designing woman is decidedly mute!
-Sincerely

My Dad is SO fast...and We're all glad my mom was born!

A couple of weeks ago I got to FLY to St. George, UT and watch my Dad run the marathon, and my mom turn a year older. I was awesome. It was pouring rain and those runners made it look like it was some sort of "survivor man" not 26.2 miles. I'm just glad the first marathon I saw was my Dad's lucky #7. Even though, no records were set everyone was a winner in my eyes :). I also got to see both my Grandma and Great Grandma and that was sweet. My cute GG is so sweet, but she is a HUGE Obama hater, it was hilarious. Summary: Good times were had by all (Missed you Brett!)
